The reason that proponents of gender ideology can never answer the question as to whether people should be able to ‘self-identify’ as a different age is because they know that as soon as they utter the answer, one way or the other, their entire ideology crumbles.
At what point are the “LGBTQ” and their allies going to admit that maaaaaybe having adult men performing stripper dances in highly sexualized costumes mocking womanhood in front of children is not a great idea, and is actually doing the opposite of “LGBTQ “acceptance”.
And maybe actual gays, lesbians and bisexuals should be asking themselves who these adult men performing these stripper-lite dances are truly representing. Ask what the end game actually is. Because we know at this point acceptance of the LGB is disintegrating. Fast.
And maybe we should be asking how these particular men came to represent gender non-conforming all gender non-conforming people as well. Ask what happens when a girl is raised in this, internalizing lessons that womanhood is for men to mock and sexualize. That it’s “progressive”.
Maybe we should also be asking who is actually demanding these performances, because I can’t help but notice how many people seem to be in heterosexual relationships, and in in positions of authority are the ones defending them, promoting them and attending them.
And more actual LGB individuals have to start asking themselves how this one thing came to represent us all. Only after it became a television hit with straight audiences. Then ask ourselves if these people are actually accepting us, or if they just wanted modern circus freaks.
The LGB must also ask themselves if attacking parents when they criticize drag for children, no matter the circumstances, even when the performers ARE exposed as predators; why so many are invested in doubling down on this one thing as a demonstration of allyship.
Ask yourself the simple question, if something you’re doing causes actual harm to people you claim to care about; why keep doing it even after many of those people are begging you to stop? Drag isn’t for children. It doesn’t represent the LGB OR T. I shouldn’t have to say this.
Lastly, the LGB must look at declining acceptance of LGB, who just wanted to love who we love without facing oppression, and wonder why those claiming to fight for us refuse to course correct when something is obviously causing intolerance. Who’s actually benefitting from this?
