There was a man on facebook who tried to coax me into an argument about the left. I am the radical left as in I want free healthcare, debt forgiveness, a UBI, a livable wage, and a end to the war economy. He tried to tell me that tearing down of monuments is erasing history. A monument is a sign to remember and an honor. Hitler doesn't deserve a monument and we can remember that evil bastard by teaching about him. Writing books and making movies of his evil. Couldn't stop at nine. He said in 2019 when Elizabeth Warren announced she was running for president. Tearing down monuments is not "re-writing history" it is making it right. There are no monuments to Hitler why should there be monuments to slave owners? A Monument is a symbol of respect and honor.
