Adventures in douchebaggery (Story #1)

     The Chinese Buffet Incident

     Full disclosure. I am not a Christian. I am not baptized, I am not a fan of any of the sons of Abraham and I am on the fence as to wether or not Jesus even existed. I know all about how the "disciples" did not write any of the books of the bible and they were written over 30 years after Jesus 'death' and yadda yadda bing. ALL that stuff. I write that because it is important to the story I am going to tell.

     My wife had gone away for work and was going to be gone for a week. I can cook, I can cook better than my wife, this is something she will tell you, and I do cook unless I feel like being lazy. There is a new Chinese buffet in Jackson and it has a hibachi grill which for Jackson is something new. Being a fan of Mongolian BBQ I was excited to go to this place and see what was up. 

     I walked in and it was a nice looking place, but then again it was also new. Typical Red, Black and Gold gaudy ass decorations. There are the fat Buddha's and Chinese lettering all over the walls. Big tables in the middle and booths on both sides of the wall. The place is busy but not overly busy. First thing that happened was the millennial who sat me down asked if I qualified for the senior citizen discount. I was stunned! I looked at her and told her while I was old enough to be her father I was not that fucking old and to go get my waitress. Her mouth dropped open and she scampered away to soon be replaced by a young Chinese woman with a very thick accent that I am not sure was even real. I felt like she was faking it. I have no proof but I was not convinced that she had that thick of an accent. She explained how to use the hibachi, same as Mongolian BBQ, and that drinks had free refills.

     At the front table, which was next to me in the booth, sat a man, a woman and 9 kids, NINE kids. I had a feeling that they were maybe adopted or foster because two were Black, one was Latino and the rest were White like the parents. There were three red headed stepchildren and a couple of blondes. They were not rowdy except for this one White boy who was wearing a Mario Bros t-shirt which made me think that his mother wasn't even born when that game came out which then made me think 

     Did you know Purple Rain was released 33 years ago? Feel old yet? Maybe I do qualify for that discount.

     Mario shirt was a rowdy lil fuck. He kept antagonizing this dark haired girl who sat across from him. He calling her fat, he called her ugly and said that she smelled like a salad bar. I thought that was actually funny but it wasn't funny to say to a girl. Mario Shirt kept turning his head after each insult to see if someone was watching and when he wasn't doing that he was mocking the father behind his back mimicking him talking until he got caught by the mother and told to "settle down". He was constantly talking and moving around like a puppy with worms. The Father Figure (F.F.)   clinked his glass and told everyone to "be still, bow your heads and I will lead you all in prayer" Eight kids did as told and Mario shirt mockingly put his hands together and looked up at the ceiling and then bowed his head. The father took notice and said, "settle down" and then he closed his eyes and bowed his head. 

     Now, just because I am not a fan of Hebrew fairy tales does not mean I do not respect those who do. I am a man who does pray and so when other people pray I respect that. While the father was praying and just as he got to the part where he was thanking God for allowing the family to come to a restaurant to eat when Mario Shirt loudly yells "OWIEEEEE" which is a fake "ouch" by the way he said it with a shit eating grin sliced across his face. F.F. stopped, opened his eye's and turned his head towards Mario Shirt. "Are you serious right now?" he asked incredulous with shock. Mario Shirt pointed to his nose and said something about bumping it earlier or some weak shit. I made a "humph" noise and shook my head. F.F. looked my way and said, "Sorry sir, Todd (or James, or Mike or some equally obnoxiously common name) forgets himself."

     Let me digress for a second here. I like kids. Most. A Lor No, that's not right either, I like some kids.  I know a few kids that I can tolerate pretty well. (I gotta stay honest). Kids are not like they were when I was growing up. Kids now just couldn't give a fuk. They don't respect shit. They go to people's weddings and funerals dressed in tank tops and jean shorts. They have no idea of history or current events. They are fed a constant diet of "Everyone is the same! There are no winners or losers! Here! Take this PARTICIPATION TROPHY and know in your heart that you can be and do anything!" Having been on the Earth for over 47 years (Birthday is October 26th) I can tell you that the above is capricious bullshit! Those are just a few reasons I can't stand these shitty kids and equally shitty parents, so when I have my chance to be a douche-bag and maybe get a kid in trouble I say fuck it and go for it. I admit it is some douche-bag behavior on my part but check the title of this blog. I am aware. You could say I am "woke"..........

     I turned to F.F. and put my napkin to my mouth, closed my eyes and shook my head. I let out a long slow breath and looked as woefully as I could at F.F. and said with my voice all at once, hushed and cracking, "I'm sorry sir" I started thinking how full of shit I am sometimes and continued, "It's just when I think of how I have been washed in the blood of Jesus and forgiven for all of my satanic sins and lewd behavior and has given me peace and for someone to interrupt another person addressing the messiah and lord and savior of so many in a disrespectful manner it doesn't make me angry like I used to get at everything, no I have been relieved of that, it makes me sad to think that anyone who is obviously raised in the way of the lord to be just.....just......maybe...." Then I turned my head. F.F. apologized and then informed Mario shirt that he cannot have desert tonight and for the next three nights. 

     I smiled and felt a enormous sense of satisfaction that the little shit Mario Shirt would be going without desert as the daughter could eat cake right in front of his A.D.D. ass as he watches in jealously.

     Fuck these spoiled shits. 

     

     

No Christians I know

   



     I was asked yesterday on a chat if I liked Christians. I guess I was coming off pretty harsh, he later asked me if I was an atheist. I explained that I do not have enough data to know if I like Christians because I have met so few of them in my life. My mother raised us in a cult that was heavy bible thumpers, they can quote scripture like they have a black belt. So, I know a lot about Jesus. I study on my own and what I think of him or believe about him is for another blog. It would just be a distraction here.
     I am dead serious about not knowing very many Christians like I know very few Muslims. Sure I know people who claim to be Christian but they are not Christian at all. Donnie Trump says he is a Christian and he has plenty of right wing, conservative liars that call themselves "leaders" and Reverend who swear that they are Christian and so is Trump. You can say you are a thing but that doesn't mean you are that thing. I can stand in a garage and say I am a Chevy Equinox but that doesn't make it true. If you are a Christian then you are expected to ACT Christ like. Act in the way, which was loving and firm in his stance, that Christ acted. Compassion is the one word that I think of when I think about Jesus. Trump is no Jesus. Jesus tells Christians to welcome the stranger. With Donnie turning away some 800,000 Dreamers he is directly ignoring this directive from his messiah. Donnie absolutely hates Brown people. He started his campaign on the 'threats' that immigrants, Mexicans in particular, posed to Americans. Turn on Fox and every religious leader on there that is backing Trump talks about what a good Christian he is. He and every conservative/republican do not have compassion, they care about their true God. Money. Joel Osteen made that perfectly clear.
     If you can't act lovingly to strangers then you are no Christian. If you live by fear and not faith you are not a Christian. Jesus never said "I love you" in the bible but he did so by his actions because actions do speak louder than words and for those on the right it is obvious on hoe you treat the earth, how you treat children, immigrants, women and each other. My belief system is free of dogma and is focused on justice and love with love being the most powerful force in the entire universe. That might be dogma and if it is then that's the dogma I have.
     These dreamers are Americans, they cannot be deported to a land that is not theirs. This land is theirs. If you can trace you family lineage and the majority of that lineage is not on Turtle Island then you are a immigrant and Donnie and his whole entire Luciferian family are immigrants.
      If you claim to be a Christian I suggest you read anything by Jim Wallis. Put that shit from Joel Osteen and all the other frauds that preach prosperity spirituality. THAT is the kind of crap that makes for a fake Christian. If you want to help contact your congressman and senator about passing the DREAM act.

Complicity and bigotry are not an option!

Trump supporter, you suck

     Trump's response to the devatstation in Texas is as shallow as Bush's response to the devastation left by Katrina. It's a non-response really. FEMA is a joke, it is underfunded because it does not produce money, not like the Iraq war does. 
     I don't like that schools teach Creationism according to the sons of Abraham in public schools paid for by tax dollars while veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan war are killing themselves at a rate that surpasses any other veteran of a war.
     I lump you, Trump voter/supporter, with the KKK, Neo-Nazi's, Fascists, skinheads, White supremacists and good old fashioned inbred hillbilly yokels who vote against their best interest because they are too damn lazy to do any research to see if their appointed leaders and Fox news are lying to them. Limbaugh listeners, Hannity lovers and people who think that Bill O'Rielly got a raw deal, all together as what is going to prove to be the downfall of this nation once and for all. 
     I refuse to try to see things your way anymore. I refuse to see if there is common ground among us as you march down the street carrying torches and chanting Nazi slogans. I refuse to listen to anything you have to say about economics while Trump and his family raid the American treasury making him and his ilk more money. 
     You call yourself a Christian yet you support a guy who has the outright support of the KKK and you fool yourself into thinking that there is a 'Alt-Left" that is equal to the "Alt-Right" because you are sick and must say that "both sides" are at fault for the things going on in this nation. 
     You are a racist, a misogynist and a xenophobe and it sickens me to no end. You have no real morals, you're a coward with no heart. You voted Trump because the Black guy did a good job of cleaning up after the last Republican idiot damn near destroyed the nation. As far as being on the spectrum of scumbags who hold ideas that are abhorrent to human freedom and progress you bet your candy ass you are on all of the spectrum's of shitty people. 
     Being polite to people like you doesn't work. I can love you, but I love with determiniation and strength. I don't pretend to love you with a lame effiminaite softness. I love with the strength of my ancestors who allow me to look at what you and your president are doing and speak truth to that power. You might say you want "lower taxes and smaller government" which historically the republicans have NEVER delivered to you, but what you wanted was White men in charge. 53% of White women voted Trump. Why? Security, he spoke tough and they liked it. 
     
I tried to be polite but now I just don't give a damn because let's be honest we don't live in polite America anymore. We live in grab ‘em by the pussy America now. So thank you for that. Being polite was exhausting.

And don’t come at me with how you just didn’t like Hillary. This was bigger than Hillary. The whole free world knows it so don’t pretend like you don’t. This wasn’t your standard, “I want lower taxes and smaller government” Republican. We had Germans warning us that this guy was scary and still people cried emails or Benghazi or “that voice.” And the truth is there’s been mountains of evidence proving that none of this was a big deal; some of the finest minds in the world have drawn you charts and graphs pointing to why no crimes were committed and you were either too dumb or too willfully ignorant to care. And if you really cared about crimes, you might care about any of the 3 pending against your candidate. Take your pick. I’d start with the rape of the 13 year old girl, but again if you voted for Trump, you probably don’t care much what happens to women. Doesn’t matter anyway. She got so many death threats from your “political peers” she dropped the charges anyway. But ask me again why more victims don’t come forward.

And speaking of smaller government and lower taxes, enjoy not getting mine. If Trump actually does what he says, you and your petty backward states and your small angry towns can pay for your own schools to not educate your children. I live in California, the largest economy in the United States and number 6 in the world. We’ll be fine. Have fun affording all those children your health insurance won't pay for your birth control to prevent. I’m just kidding. You won’t have health insurance. Won’t that just be great (again?!)

And while I’m done being polite, if you voted 3rd party, un-friend me. I don’t care how much we enjoy each other on every other level. I don’t care how much you want to make your 3rd party a viable option. Fuck you. You basically told women and the LGBTQ community and people of color to take a back seat to your need to have another option. Well done. Now, we’re not only in the back seat, we’re actually being dragged behind the car. But how’s that third party coming? What are you doing about it today, November 10th, by the way? Are you volunteering for your third party so you can get more of their candidates into state and local elections? Looking into how to help make them viable for the mid-term elections? I look forward to who you present to save us in 2020, if there’s anything left to save.

Also, while I am at it, if you are one of those people telling me this week how Bernie could have defeated Trump, un-friend me. But kudos to you for living in a world where you think being Jewish wouldn’t have mattered to Trump supporters. I wish I could buy property there. Tell me, what are the schools like that far up your own ass?

The truth is that for those of us on this side, there is no “when all this is over,” things are just getting started. We think yesterday was bad? We don’t know what bad is yet. This isn’t something you get over. This is something you endure. We are going to face attacks on every right we fought the last 60 years to gain. The deck is so stacked against us we may not win. The best we can hope for is gridlock. And that’s just nationally. Internationally, who the fuck knows what’s going to happen with this lunatic. And the scarier thought is that the only thing worse than him is the guy that’s one angry tweet away from the Presidency, Mike Pence, advocate for gay conversion therapy and mandatory funerals for fetuses.

So now’s the time you may want to see things from my side. Because if we’re all “going to have to be friends after this” imagine me having to be polite and respect your vote to take away these rights and freedoms of mine and my friends while we fight desperately to hold onto them. Because that is what you did.

And that all says nothing of what you just said about us as women. I haven’t gotten to that yet because I may scream when I do and if I start I may not stop. So let me just say, you told every woman that being sexually harassed does not matter. Being sexually assaulted does not matter. Working hard does not matter. You took the most qualified candidate we’ve had in decades – a woman - belittled her for every single mistake and misstep she’s ever made while you took the most unqualified candidate we’ve ever had – a man – and ignored every mistake he ever made. But you’re not sexist. No let me tell you: Yes. You. Are. And if you’re a woman, Girl, you got issues. And I say that as someone who crawled out of the bitter, self-hating womb of one of these women. I know that most of these women are damaged and that I should find the compassion for them but I am not there yet because I am so sick of damaged people damaging the rest of us.

And isn’t this somewhat an abusive relationship at this point? If you have friends or family like this, cut them off. I'm giving you permission. They didn’t give two shits about your rights or happiness on Tuesday. You don’t have to pretend like it’s all cool and pass them a plate of turkey two weeks from now. It’s like we’re uall abused partners saying to each other, “But you don’t know what he’s like when he’s not racist.” Being racist isn’t the same as liking Dire Straits. It’s not like you just don’t like the same music. Being racist is always racist. And voting for Trump makes you a racist. Protect yourselves, Friends. Because those assholes always do.

Real Warriors Love. (And bring it when necessary)

     When the word warrior is mentioned Americans are prone to think of weaponry, fatigues, explosions and the flag. When warrior is mentioned in the same sentence as a Native American the image that flashes is long hair, bare chested, light mocha colored man on a horse with a bow and arrow.

     Both images are woefully inadequate in reality. Women are warriors, children are warriors, people who have never held a automatic weapon are warriors. The guy who gets up everyday and goes to a job where he busts his kiester for 8 plus hours a day for a low wage and do it day in and day out to provide for his family. A warrior is a water protector who gets blasted in the face with mace by men who are paid with their taxes and turns around and shows up the next day. The warrior is the one who's job it is to feed homeless children and provide a safe place for them in neighborhoods that police do not go to. Warriors do warrior 'ish because they love people and they love because they know that the highest purpose is to serve. 

     We are here to serve, we are not here to be served. 

     This is America, like it or not we are getting more and more Brown and it's not because its summer time. See that young man's face above? He is not a warrior. He is terrified. He is scared that when America goes majority Brown we will treat them like they have treated us. I would tell him that it won't happen because we are not built that way but he wouldn't listen to me because I am Brown. 

     Warriors know that love is the strongest force in the universe. Some believe that is all that God is made of. Warriors know that love of self leads to love of kind and love of kind leads to respect of all life. All life. If it has wings we love it, if it has paws we love it, if it has hooves we love it, if it has skin color unlike our own we love it. Why? Because it is the strongest force in the universe. Now don't get it twisted. I am not a hippie, I am not a pacifist. I'm not Christian and I don't turn my cheek. I stand with The Creator of all natural things and I am positive of the outcome. Love will win. I can get violent but that is such a small part of being a warrior that it is not even in my mind when I go to a protest or make a speech or write a blog. {:)}I carry a message that regardless if you think of me as as much human as you are that love is the strongest force in the universe and it is what motivates a warrior. 

     I do not perpetuate violence and actually know it to be futile but self defense is not violence, self defense is a tool that a warrior uses when all other tools have been tried. When you see me at a protest know that it is because I am compelled by spirit and love to move that way. To confront hate with love is hard. It is very very hard and at 47 years of age I am still learning to do it right. When I saw those men marching with torches and chanting Nazi slogans I was not angry. I was incredibly sad. Sad because I know that talking to them will not change them, they are so afraid and rhetoric filled that listening is a skill they have lost. Meeting them in large numbers with love and compassion will confuse them and hopefully give them that precious second to stop and pause and look around and reconsider their behavior. 

     We outnumber them. Not Brown people "we" I am talking about the WE that knows that the universe is run on numbers and love. The WE that as Americans are attempting to move this nation to live up to it's promises of a nation of equals and justice. Trump and the conservatives are cowards and they are scared and their base, the men and women who carry torches and chant Nazi slogans, are cowards also. Like children they can learn one of two ways. The way of the peaceful warrior or the way of the warrior who has tried their best and is left with not other choice but to protect what they love. 

     I love my family and I love my people and I love my simplistic understanding of The Creator of all natural things. Feel free to be a White nationalist but also be prepared to be met with love, compassion and power. NOT force, but POWER. Next blog I will try to explain the difference.

Sleepless in Jackson

 4:15 a.m. and I honestly can not sleep. Images of them White men, so angry, shaking torches and chanting Nazi slogans periodically run thru my mind. I try to distract myself by watching Rick & Morty, reading a book, writing a little but nothing stops those images.
     When that bitch Trump won I knew that America was in for some ugly times ahead. His family, all of them his tramp wife included, are going to rip this country off and in the meantime they are going to wreak havoc on the citizens of this country. We spent the last part of Obama's term watching the racism of this nation come to a boiling point. The shooting of unarmed Black men, the police killings of Native Americans, the Standing Rock protest, the infamous "wall" and deportation and tearing apart of South American families. All things that are supposedly "UN-American" but in reality are as American as the Confederate flag.
     Trump rally's were cathartic for the degenerates and deplorable of the right. He would rally them all to a fever pitch by using coded language, threats, kicking people out of the building, talking openly about his disdain for women, the military power of America and the perceived differences between those on the right and those on the left. Just to show how stupid Republicans and conservatives, they think elitist pigs like Trump and the Bush family can relate to the unwashed inbred toothless masses that make up the right. The talking heads you see in the conservative media, which is all media, are the cream of the crop for the right. They melt like butter in the hot sun when faced off with a liberal with a spine and a brain, not your Alan Holmes type. I don't care who says what, God was NOT present at those gatherings but the devils had front row seats.
     The incidents of White folks, men and women, going off on people of color in supermarkets and malls were and are going viral and getting more and more popular. The hatred and venom spewed by these shitbricks is old old language. We, Brown and Black folks, have heard this for years. I was called a spick by both kids and adults when I was little. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and the tension of the civil rights movement was still in the air and the complaint that Latino's and Blacks and Indians were "complaining" and "troublemakers" was heard so often it may as well have been a chant. All of that has come back and it has come back with a renewed vigor. Social Media has shrunk the world, which is a double edged sword, and people have forgotten how to talk to one another. People can say whatever they want online, things they would never dare say in public, but that boundary is disappearing quickly. We saw that when we saw Nazi salutes and chants of "Blood and Soil" and "Jews don't own us" and "White Lives Matter". These are Trump's base and he knows it. He tried to blame both sides but show me where those on the left have gathered with such violence, with guns, sticks, shields and the flags of traitors to America who lost the civil war. Show me the Alex Jones of the left who fuel the fire talking about how the White man is under attack without giving real examples. Just because someone says, "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" doesn't mean Sharia law is in effect.
     Those of us who pray need to direct our prayers to each other. The time to pray for our enemies, and like it or not that is what they are, is long long gone. Fascists wants us gone, Removed. Dead. They don't think we are as human as them and therefore do not deserve what they have or want. These people are not people that you can sit and have a beer with and hope to convince them that we are all connected. They are beyond that. We need to pray for one another and our safety, our courage, our love and our children. There are enough of us who are liberal, not the snowflake social justice warriors who demand we use "non-binary" definitions and identity politics, but who know that our connection is a reality and WE are the ones who can and must, there is no time for anything but MUST, gather together and take control of the future of our country. We have to somehow send a message that racism and hatred has to die once and for all and even more than that we need to get Trump, Pence, Bannon and every Republican out of any position of power in this country and put in their place people who value a personal relationship with The Creator that is no one else's business, and a love and a real tangible compassion for each other, We only want the best for each other. THAT should be the real American way,

Blood and SOIL!

     If you voted for Trump, from the very bottom of my heart.....FUCK YOU. If you know someone who did, please tell them I said, "FUCK YOU SIDEWAYS".
     When Obama got elected people were happy, not everyone, but the majority of America was happy, he beat Grandpa McCain's ass so hard in the votes cast it wasn't funny. It was kinda funny. I laughed. A LOT. I don't understand Republicans, I don't understand conservatives and the "Alt-Right" I understand perfectly and all three of them disgust me to no end. They are all bad for America, they are bad for the citizens of this nation, they do great for the 1% and for corporations. Hell, some republicans believe that corporations should have the same rights as people. Mitt Romney was famously caught saying that corporations were people. He also got his ass beat vote wise by Obama just not as bad as Grandpa McCain. War Hero McCain. Republican McCain. Fuck McCain. I don't give a baboon's red ass that he "saved" Obamacare.
     Let's be honest, when Obama got elected it invigorated a certain section of America that had for the most part been relegated to a small corner of Reddit where they complained about 9/11 being an inside job and how Mexicans were taking jobs and Blacks were coming to screw your pure and clean virginal daughters and turn them out to turn tricks for heroin that they would get hooked on. It also gave rise to the Tea Party. Fake grass-roots group that complained about taxes and worshiped Ayn Rand, they became powerful by calling out other Republicans who were moderate or in the middle or even dared to work with Democrats on any issue. Thankfully they are slowly going away, but alas, nature abhors a vacuum and so they become the "Alt-Right" which is xenophobic, nationalistic, white-power hate fueled group.They gained traction when Trump announced he was running by giving a press conference and saying that Mexicans were coming here raping, murdering and dealing drugs and we need a wall. White folks went crazy! I can honestly say that the one thing, the only thing thus far, that I can appreciate about Trump is that he has allowed Whites to drop that thin veil of civility that they had to have with Brown and Black people for the last 30 years. The woman haters, Gavin McCloud to name one, the liars and bigots and flat out sadists came forward to support Trump. Being of color was dangerous at any Trump rally and he fed the fire with tough talk, and threats. His supporters were angry that for the last 8 years an actual real Black guy with a African name was in the White House and running shit! All of the frustration and anger was finally given an outlet and he was running for president! Due to the duplicity of the Clinton's the guy who could have actually beaten Trump was shimmed out of contention.
     Remember the cops in Dallas who were killed? The rise of Black Lives Matter? This past week Charlottesville riots? ALL of it is directly connected to the cheeto colored twat muppet in the White House and if you voted for him then YOU are a part of it. The torches made for a incredible spectacle made to bring back memories of the KKK marching to your house and lynching whatever man they could get a hold of. This was on purpose. It's nightmare material. They also had banners, they chanted "BLOOD AND SOIL" which was a Nazi slogan often chanted at Hitler rally's. ALL on purpose to show what is happening. Being angry, fearful White men they also carried guns. So when the riot started the cops were caught with their pants down because the rioters were often better armed than they were. I honestly don't think the cops would have done shit to them anyways because truth be told them bubbas would be marching with torches if they were not on duty.
     Where are all those women wearing pussy hats and cheering Madonna when she shared she wants to blow up the White House? Where are the "All Lives Matter" folks? Where are the "moderate" republicans and "compassionate conservatives"? Where are the "I'm not a racist" people? Sure you can tweet about it and post on Facebook but are you ready to hit the streets with me? Can you understand that this shit is just going to keep happening and people are going to die and the fear that I have when I walk around in public with my beautiful White wife? Or even when I am alone?
     It's going to happen more and more and Trump, who was unsurprisingly late in condemning the riots, and his supporters are at fault. What is the action we are going to take? Shit has to change, the world is pretty mean on it's own without this garbage happening. What do you want to do?

I am not an Atheist but I sure as hell don't believe in God

     There are some people I know who would look at the title of this blog and shrug and say, "Yeah, I knew that about him". They would say that not because I am some immoral cretin or that I never speak about God, they would say that because I do not talk about God often if at all. Those that know me well, and that number is small just like it is supposed to be, know for a fact that I am a spiritual person and I have a belief system. It is not like anyone else's.
     That's not 100% true, it is like a lot of people who follow the red road, a very lonely road. I reject all of the sons of Abraham. Judaism, Christianity and Islam. No Hebrew fairy tales for me. Anything closely resembling Christianity is not what I am about. My belief system is actually very very simple.
     I outright reject all dogmatic beliefs. I believe that there is a underlying and very real misunderstood/mystery that connects everything. Everything. People, air, animals, plants, atoms, protons, neutrons and croutons. We are all connected at a cellular level and it is real. Noting in the spiritual realm is written in stone (That's a ten commandments joke) because life is ever evolving. Life changes all of the time. The generation I am a part of, to be 6 foot tall is normal, the preceding generation 5'10 was average. Our jaw lines are changing, our vision and our sense of smell is changing. We are ever evolving, we are always growing- or at least should be. The only thing that is not growing is dead.
     I am constantly updating my beliefs. My beliefs from even two years ago are drastically different. I used to believe that Jesus was a real person until I decided, after a conversation with a evangelical person, to research for myself and the evidence that he was made up from a mish mash of Judaic myths and Egyptian/Roman deities is too much to deny. I have read 7 books about the historicity of Jesus and that is what I came away with. I read some to say that he was real and their arguments were thin and involved a stretch of the imagination that I just can't do. My beliefs evolve and change because I evolve and change. What was sacred is not sacred because I can't tell you what is sacred because I do not know where you are on the path that you are on. I know that we are connected, I know that I am sacred and so are you and that life itself is a sacred thing. Anything living has use and deserves love, compassion, respect and space.
     I respect the process. Some call it the "path" or whatever comes to the imagination but the process of belief is personal and i can't decide for anyone but myself. I can demand and expect respect but if I don't get it I am not surprised. Your spiritual path, if you are on one or not, if yours. Even if you're an atheist that is still your belief. I can't decide what religious practice you participate in or what you practice. That is up to you just like this is up to me. Don't get me wrong, I can and often do, critique it and even rail against it if it harms me, others or the Earth or our four legged family
     The crimes committed in the name of God or Jesus or Muhammad should and need to be called out as dangerous and insane. If you can gather from your book or "teaching" that an abortion doctor should be killed or you should blow yourself up or even that some mysterious sky daddy is interested in real estate and demands you build  temple and kill all those unlike you then I am going to call that ill shit right out. I refuse.
     So call it Wakantanka or Gitchi Manitou or Bill, I don't give a rip just don't harm anyone that is all I am asking.

Jordan Peterson is a professor in Toronto who has taken a hard stand on an issue that I have personally bumped up against. The issue is that he refuses to use any made up pro-nouns to describe these Social Justice Warrior gender defying snowflakes.

I’ll explain it better. There are a group of people, and this group is growing day by day, who believe that sex is a societal construct. They believe that sex is fluid and not set. Because gender is not set the use of HER or HIM is offensive and can be either a micro-aggression (another snowflake made up chunk of shit that shows how over sensitive some people are).

I got that from the Universtiy of Wisconsin. I refuse to use any of those and because I refused to use any of them I was booted from Facebook for a week. I was accused of hate speech for not using speech. So I guess I was accused of love speech…...or not.
I refuse to use them because the simple scientific fact is that there are two genders. Male and Female. Two of them and the fact is if you pull your pants down and do not see a cock, no matter how small if it’s there it is there and that means you are a boy. If you look down and your cock is non-existent and actually looks like a piece of baguette with a slice down the center that is a vagina or va-jay jay and you are a girl. Now, if you feel like you are a man trapped in a woman’s body or vice versa you are confused mentally and are in the grip of a real life disorder. Gender Identity Disorder is a real life disorder.

Some transgender people and researchers support declassification of GID because they say the diagnosis pathologizes gender variance, reinforces the binary model of gender, and can result in stigmatization of transgender individuals. The official reclassification as gender dysphoria in the DSM-5 may help resolve some of these issues, because the term gender dysphoria applies only to the discontent experienced by some persons resulting from gender identity issues. The American Psychiatric Association, publisher of the DSM-5, states that "gender nonconformity is not in itself a mental disorder. The critical element of gender dysphoria is the presence of clinically significant distress associated with the condition."

So science is on my side on this one. Now you can feel free to call me a homophobe or transphobic and I will quickly tell you to go and fuck yourself sideways. Because if you used the DSM 5 you will see there is no such a diagnosis for homophobia or an irrational fear of homosexuals. I fear no man, I have had my ass kicked before and so what else is a man going to do to me that I need to be afraid of? The mere idea of fearing someone because they are gay is ignorant outright and I could really give a shit who people love. Not my business and never would be. Transphobic falls into the same category so calling these names at people is stupid because it doesn’t exist. It’s like when Afro-centric assholes call me White and then find out I am not White. Back to Jordan. I am with him 100% about people forcing others to use language that is not real in order to push a social agenda. That is authoritarianism and that is how fascism comes a calling. The liberals and especially the left LOVE Marxism and swear that Marxism is great if and only it was given a proper chance. Ignore the abject failures of Russia and Cambodia and China (40 million dead on the less side of the stats in the ‘great leap forward’ that Mao introduced). I caught on when I read the article explaining why so many students were pissed at professor Peterson. I read about it on a left leaning blog and that was where I noticed the agenda to get me to accept transgender people as the pro-noun that they wanted to be called. Instantly the alarms went off and I read deeper into the subject and saw that yeah, 10 hours of plastic surgery, name change, and ‘coming out’ as Caitlin didn’t make you a hero, or a woman, or anything other than an ugly looking White woman who has the money to indulge himself in fucked up fantasy. Then again if I had been having sex with the Kardashian hell spawn queen there is no telling what I may have done to myself.

Back to Jordan and where he and I split. At Yale a year or so back a directive from the Intercultural Affairs Committee advised students to be more sensitive (HATE that word when it comes to college’s but that is another blog) when dressing up for Halloween. To stay away from anything “Cultural – Native Americans, stereotypical “Mexicans” or “Ghetto” as it would cause psychological disruption. Erika Christa is a expert in early childhood education at Yale and she wrote that the e-mail directive was giving negative consequences to students ceding “implied control” over Halloween costumes to institutional forces. She wonders if there was room for people to be “a little bit obnoxious” or “provocative and a little bit inappropriate”.

Jordan had a HUGE problem with this. He thinks people should be able to dress as they want and fuck your emotions. Here is the big issue with that. If you want to dress in exaggerated form and paint your face Black and call yourself “ghetto” then by all means do so, however you are a racist piece of shit for doing so and should be outed and ridiculed for

1.) Going to Yale and making piss poor decisions based on your own bigotry

2.) Being a bigot without a shred of sense

If you can’t find the problem of dressing like an Indian – actual ethnic group- and a cowboy – a job description then I question how the hell you got into Yale let alone a fucking Burger King.

Jordan thinks there is nothing wrong with it and people are being too sensitive. Now I am against, vehemently against, “safe spaces” and any such nonsense but when it comes to the above situation it is NOT about infringing on anyone rights. It is common decency and there is where the real issue is.

White people, as a general rule, are selfish (only thinks of themselves), rude (only thinks of themselves), arrogant (only thinks that they are ‘rightful’ about any situation and or program).

CIVIL RIGHTS WERE CREATED NOT TO ENSURE AND DELIVER RIGHTS TO PEOPLE OF COLOR BUT TO TEACH WHITE PEOPLE HOW TO ACT.

And the bullshit they pull by gerrymandering districts, pipelines to prison, sub-par education, food deserts, unemployment, under-employment, police brutality and the list goes on and on and includes many more abuses of not only our humanity but our very right to exist. Dressing up as a ‘pimp’ and your girlfriend as a ‘ho’ pokes fun, from a place where this is only a reality when you drive into town to get weed or as an adventure to show your out of town relatives how close you are to the “ghetto”, and there is not a shred of reality in your own life. The students at Yale should not have been told to not dress as a ethnic group, it’s a fucking shame that they had to in the first place. The fact that students of color had to once again stop what they are doing and try to get White people to understand where they are wrong is frustrating on a level that only a activist of color can understand.

Jordan Peterson is a respectable professor but on this he is wrong and can go fuck himself just like Trump.

I admit a few things right off of the bat. I was immensely influenced by Public Enemy as a teenager and thus I was intrigued by this cat name Louis Farrakhan that was mentioned a few times in different songs from PE. Unlike most of my friends when something interested me I did some research so I did some research on Farrakhan. That led me to re-reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Great book that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to see how a person can grow from a starting point of negative 10 into a man who has convictions, convictions so great that he is actually willing to sacrifice his life for them.

Admittedly everything I read about Louis Farrakhan came from The Final Call because the new media was just not covering him and when they did they specifically covered a speech and not much about him in a personal way. I did get a hold of a lot of coverage about him and Jesse Jackson during the presidential race and he was like an attack dog for Jesse. I also remember Abraham Foxman from the ADL calling him a Hitler and a Hitler lover. Nothing about this guy was ever light. He was unapolotigically pro-Black an I wished we had a Brown counterpart. A Brown man who didn’t kiss White ass or look to be be brothers with Whites. A Brown man who’s main concern was Brown people and more importantly Brown future. Not being allied with Whites and the constant need to cheer lead “good Whites” and ally ship and all of that with Whites. I wanted a Brown man who spoke about Whites giving us hell, White governmental policies, White supremacy and it’s effects on the reservation and on the lives of Indians and Brown people in the inner city. We did not then, and still do not have that guy. I admired Farrakhan because he could face down White people and not act contrite or apologetic. I liked that he was fiery and he could admit we have an open enemy. He often spoke about Indians and Brown folks as family. He was/is smooth. When he spoke f Blacks he had a knack for speaking with an inclusion of Brown people. I was quick to sign up! I brought tons of tapes (back in the late 80’s this was a major way for the message to get out) and his books and even a few VHS tapes. When I began to hang out more and more after pow wow’s and when I joined a drum group I would turn the discussion to political subjects and intersperse these talks with Farrakhan points. Some of the brothers dug it and we could have in depth conversations on political activity for hours and then of course some milquetoast brother would come in and spring some hippie-one love-we-are-all-related shit into the mix and set the whole conversation back onto what it the “Indian way” and the things I was saying and thinking was NOT the “Indian Way”.

Which Indians this particular “way” was coming from was never expressed but it was sure not PRO-Indian because that was too close to being superior which I could never figure out. I would often never get a clear response when I would ask “If We all want to work to be equal to Whites then who the hell are Whites equal too?”

I also was on the tip the White people are the devil. Actual genetic devils. Grafted devils by a mad scientist who had an experiment go horribly wrong. Think of a scientist making and trying to re-animate people and them coming “alive” and getting out. The beginning of every bad zombie movie ever made right? According to Nation of Islam theology this is correct. Yakub made science experiments with “light” Black folks and before you know it he had White people and before you know it they were so wicked and out of control the took over the Earth! (Google – Yakub the big head scientist for yourself).

There was a Million Man March in 1995 and it was spectacular! Over a million Black men ended up in Washington DC to hear and do something. SOMETHING. All day long speakers came and went and spoke of self love, love of kind, building business, ending violence, loving one another and fixing communities and relationships. Farrakhan spoke for over 3 hours. Men cried and hugged and the vibe was loving, light and powerful. For all of the lip service that so man in the ION give to “family” of the Black, Brown, Red and Yellow, this was strictly a BLACK march. I went because so many of the members of the Nation were brothers of mine and I even held a sweat lodge ceremony for the main minister and his two assistants of Muhammad’s Mosque number 1 in Detroit. It was powerful.

Flash forward to 2015 and I was invited to be hands on involved in the Justice or Else march. I was to help gather Indians and Latino’s and work with Abel Muhammad, the Latino representative of the NOI and Yonasda Lonewolf, a sweet heat of a woman who is half Lakota and hlaf Black. We had rallies, many many phone conferences and such going on.

It was great at first, we had a clear focus of what we wanted to happen that day. Jay Night wolf, a supposed Indian radio show host was on board as was a number of well known Indian activists. I mostly stayed quiet and listened. I didn’t know Jay and had to do some homework on him. Warrior Woman was also there as was “Chief” Ernie Long walker. He I had heard of from the “Longest walk” number one back in 1978. Warrior Woman was his wife but I still until this day do not know their tribe.

Social media being what it is, I “met” some of the people on the conference calls by Facebook and noticed something particular. They were Black skin. I am not saying that there are no Black skin Indians, I’m calling us NDN’s from now on, hell I am related to some Black skin ndn people just like I am related to some White skin ndn’s. I don’t consider them Black NDN’s or White NDN’s I consider them NDN. If there is any such a athing as a “ndn way” THAT is a fucking ndn way.

All during the conversations leading up to the march we were told over and over that the day was NOT to be about music and dancing and such. We were there to be serious. NDN people are a musical people because we are Original people and dancing and music is the start of ALL gatherings and ceremonies so some was to be expected but ti was not to be overblown. That was a directive. The conference calls went to shit and I stopped participating when the delegation from Haiti was put with us and all of the conversations became about the state of Haiti and what the terrible things that were taking place in Haiti. All discussion of ICE, of pipelines, of sacred land, of Brown political prisoners, all came to a halt so we could listen, not even discuss, the situation in Haiti. To be honest I gave up. This was something that many elders and especially my dear, most favorite, and sadly departed elder, Thurman Bear, warned and told me about.

“When dealing with Black leadership, be careful as to how much give you give during give and take. They can be worse than paternalistic White Liberals because they will just take from you, push you to the side to be tokenized and then take over whatever mutual endeavor you may have had in mind” Another great elder and famous MC in the Michigan Pow Wow Trail was Tiq Bush and he damn near told me the same exact thing back in 1993 at the EMU Pow Wow. I ha seen signs of it but I was hoping against hope it wasn’t true but I'll be damned if it wasn’t.

I had four chances to go to the Justice or Else march free of charge and with a ride and place to stay. After prayer, not a lot of prayer, and the smallest amount of meditation I chose to stay home even though I put a lot of work into it. Here are a few reasons:

1.) I was asked to speak to the mosque. To it’s children. NOT to it’s adults but to it’s kids like a special treat. My information is not formatted for children, I don’t deliver speeches to children and I am not a token for the kids,

2.) I was invited to speak to the general population but was to invited for Sunday’s because ‘Sunday’s are more spiritually orientated’. Can you think of an NDN speaker that would NOT include spiritual language in a speech? I can’t speak public ally on anything having to do with NDN people and not mention our spirituality. That was a slap on the face.

3.) I was invited to speak on a Wednesday and when I got there, no one was there to open the door, it was not going to be recorded, a small handful of members showed up and mostly members of the Brown community, hardly any Muslims were there. The topic was “The Real Thanksgiving”

4.) I was invited to speak before Farrakhan only after asking Yonasda why there was no Brown representative speaking before him in Detroit, She spoke to Ishmael Muhammad and I got a whole 4 minutes.

When I watched the march collectively all the ndn’s got six minutes. SIX FUCKING MINUTES. Orville Looking Horse, the holder of the Sacred Pipe, was given two minutes to speak so that Warrior Woman could chant “DOWN DOWN U.S.A.” And Jay Nightwolf, member of a fraudulent Cherokee Tribe, of which there are over 200, spoke for 2 minutes. Listen to the speech he gave, Warrior Woman gave and Long walker gave. It’s pablum. Fully of fury and injustice delivered in a boiling crescendo of hate yet it is, like pablum, just filler. Nothing of substance in which as a collective we can gather behind and say with authority, “THIS IS OUR AGENDA”. Nothing like that.

Like the first Million Man March, there was nothing we could collectively walk away from and say,”THIS” is what we learned and this is the path we will take as a collective union and bring ourselves out of the muck and mire we are stuck in. Fuck the Republicans and the Democrats we are starting new and better yet, TOGETHER as the Original people of Turtle Island and Earth.”

Nope. We did get Cleo Malango who is called the “Gay Malcolm X” which I can personally tell you makes his daughters extra happy. We got some gospel screaming, it was screaming, and it was just horrendous. Of course we were not supposed to have that and Orville could have used that time to give a real substantive speech about unity, spirituality and love but no, he was given two minutes so that a woman could scream and damn near lose her wig about Jesus alienating ¾ of the audience.

A year later ask yourself what was accomplished? Some NOI members were at Standing Rock but I can tell you, that like many others that went there, it becase more of a destination to prove your “radicalism” more than it became a place to go and support the warriors there. It was a means of somehow getting a manner of legitimacy that you are “in”. There are stories coming out of White’s looting camps when the members were out taking care of business. Of some NDN’s coming in and instantly hustling social media for money and other “needs”. Inter-tribal squabbles taking place and then getting out of hand. There are videos of Black Afro-Centrics who claim to be “real Indigenous” people to this land, and we, the Brown NDN’s being actual 5 dollar ndn’s and not the real Creator given NDN’s of Turtle Island. (There are rumors that White’s gave members of the Dawes commission five dollars to be included on the rolls so that they could receive benefits. So when a Afro-Cent calls you a ‘five dollah ndn’ they are calling you White so fuck them).

The march was a failure. This Woman’s march may have given you a euphoric high just like the Million Man March did and the Justice or Else march did but as yourself.

WHAT ARE THE TANGIBLE RESULTS?

Dialogue is for reasonable people acting in good faith. Dialogue is between two acceptable positions. “Taxes need to be raised” vs. “taxes need to be lowered” is grounds for dialogue. “Taxes need to be raised” vs. “Jews should be thrown in ovens” is grounds for a beating.

But isn’t this sinking to their level?

Oh man, I want to say that Trump is a frickin God send! We area in some exciting times. He is going to straight up toss the constitution aside and make way for a raging fascist society. One part of fascism that people seem to forget is the corporate part of it. There has to be a component where a company, of global scale, is helping to dictate policy in the nation.

The Muslim ban is simple:

Refugees are required a two year vetting process

Ammosexuals (Gun rights people) say that a three day waiting period is too long

A registry is a good idea for Muslims but it is a horrible idea for Guns, it is downright Unconstitutional! See, I can see what the real problem is. It’s Brown people. It’s non-Christian people. It’s people who do not speak an acceptable (read: European) foreign language.

Trump has 100% support from the KKK and he loved it. Those ignorant cousin fucking pigs hold the same views. He is a bigot and we all know it. The media pretends that he isn’t while trying to walk a fine line of exposing him as is and reporting what might be. Politics has invaded every single persons life in America. With the threat of deportation comes the fright of a family being torn apart.

Trump’s election is what Van Jones so eloquently described as a “White-lash” against Obama. The sweeping in of Republican’s in such a way shows that White America was pissed off about 8 years of Obama and his Black ass! In reality Obama didn’t do jack shit for Black and Brown people, he did all types of wonder for Gays. If Clinton was the first Black president then Obama was the first Gay president. White America came out to the polls because of the ludicrous nature of the left and what they percieve as injustices. The left has gone way off of the deep end expecting everyone to fall in line to their stupid ideology. Don’t get me wrong, ideology of any and all kind is stupid and unnecessary. Gay rights have taken heavy leaps while it seems that the oppression of Brown and Black people has risen to new heights. The murders of Native men and women and Black men and women by the police and even regular citizens that have gone unpunished. The Unemployment rate and the jobs that did open were not sufficient to live on. The Flint water crisis, the Dakota Access Pipeline and the overall destruction of the inner city. Chicago has become a war zone, one in which Trump has threatened to send in the Feds. The discovery of a secret prison in Chicago. All of this under Obama’s watch. I’m sorry I voted for that asshat. I didn’t expect White folks to be so damn angry that they would seriously consider a con-man like Trump let alone vote his vile cheeto colored bitch ass into the oval office! 34% of White women voted Trump while he got damn near zero Black vote. The people who ushered him in were White and or Social Justice Warriors who wanted Bernie so bad that they sat at home or voted for the vanity candidate that was Jill Stein. She was laughable. That bitch never stood a chance and anyone who voted for her, worked for her, or did anything for her campaign is a dumbass who helped usher in Trump.

Muslim registry, a wall on the border of Mexico, deportations, tax cuts for the 1% and businesses, a military display of weapons down Pennsylvania Avenue and lord knows what else is what we have in store for us in the next four years. All of this is a repudiation of the last 8 years. Trump is what we get when White Americans think that they are losing control and influence. It’s White panic, the majority of it is racist in nature of course, but that’s too easy an answer to just say it is racism. It is a push back against what has been percieved as forward strides in race relations. Obama is at fault for the racial divide in this nation in so far as he happened to be the Black guy who became the first Black president. Republicans are at fault for the vitriol and the seething hate that comes from most of the right wing. Republicans made no effort to hide their disdain for Obama and they even proudly announced themselves as the “party of no” and they didn’t give two shits how it affected their constituents. They are truly a sick group of people and they deserve hatred.
